Border Control POst (BCP)
The Border Control Post (BCP) Gdynia Port operates within our warehouse in Gdynia at Logistyczna 4 Street.
On-site, goods are subject to sanitary and phytosanitary inspections carried out by authorized institutions in accordance with applicable European Union regulations.
We ensure a smooth inspection process and professional service.
Scope of control
At our BCP facility certin food and animal feed products are inspected according to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1793 of 22 October 2019, Annexes I and II. This refers to goods crossing the European Union border through Gdynia Container Terminal (GCT).
The inspections include, among others:
- assessment of product quality and safety,
- verification of compliance with sanitary and phytosanitary standards,
- review of documentation accompanying the cargo.

Border control is the process of verifying the quality and safety of cargo crossing the European Union border. In Gdynia, the Border Control Post (BCP) operates within our warehouse at Logistyczna 4 Street, located next to the Gdynia Container Terminal.
At our facility, goods are subject to quality inspections in accordance with EU legislation, including Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1793 of 22 October 2019 (Annexes I and II). This means that every shipment covered by these provisions must undergo the appropriate verification procedure before being placed on the EU market.
Thanks to its convenient location near the port and our comprehensive service, the inspection process runs smoothly and efficiently, helping to avoid unnecessary delays in cargo transport.
